1. Progress Report submitted
The
Progress Report was submitted to the European Commission on
29th of June.
In the progress report, a general description of the status
of the project was given. The workplan was described by given
an overview of the actions that were already undertaken and
of the future tasks and products to develop. Finally, a financial
report was completed.
This Progress Report is an important step in the approval
of the final budget, results and products by the European
Commission. A copy of the progress report is available at
the project assistant.
2.
Change of Italian Partner
In May, an Agreement Modification Form was submitted to the
European Commission to announce officially the change of partnership
of our Italian Partner.
Anna Bianco,
the Italian key-person of the project has recently transferred
from the university of Torino to the University
of Cagliari. To ensure the continuity of the Joint Actions
Project and continue this excellent cooperation, both universities
as well as the project coordinator decided to transfer the
partnership to the new employer of Anna, the university of
Cagliari.
Therefore the University of Torino officially withdrew his
partnership. “The University
of Cagliari has committed to take over all tasks and responsibilities
connected with the project from the Institute of Physical
Education in Torino.

3. Presentation International Symposium
on Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA), Verona, 5/07/2005.
On
5/07/2005, our project was presented at the 15th
IFAPA symposium in Italy. This symposium is organised
every 2 year and is the most important symposium in the field
of Adapted Physical Activity. Since the symposium
took place in Europe this year, we were presented with an
excellent opportunity to propose our project to a group of
APA experts from around the world.

4. Final Report: National policies on
Inclusion in Physical Education, Sports and Employment of
Youngsters with Disabilities
All the reports on the National Policy on Inclusion in Physical
Education, Sports and Employment of Youngsters with Disabilities
were collected in a general report. This general report was
submitted together with the Progress Report.
In the next few weeks, the comparison between all European
policies will be made and a set of recommendations will be
drawn up based on this comparison. This set of recommendations
will then be translated by all partners in their native language
and published in a folder for dissemination to the policy
makers in the participating countries.
5. Future Actions
The next project forum will be held in Cagliari, Italy from
19th until 23rd of October. By the first of October all examples
of good practice should be submitted so they can be reviewed
on the next forum.
