1. Second Project Forum in Cagliari, 19-23/10/2005

On the second forum, each of the partners presented their national examples of good practice according to the scheme decided in the first project forum. With these practical examples as a starting point, the basic scheme for the development of the educational kit and the motivational CD-ROM was designed. All the information on the content of the meeting can be found in the minutes.

2. Work visit inclusive school in Italy

In Cagliari we were invited to a secondary school to experience how inclusion in the Italian school system is organised. The first Italian law that regulates integration of all pupils with disability into the regular school system dates back from 1975. At the moment, there is full inclusion of all children with disabilities in the mainstream school system. We visited 2 PE classes with children with hearing impairment and mental disability integrated in the system. Afterwards, there was a round-table discussion with the support teachers and the vice-principle of the school. More information on the meeting can be found in the minutes of the Cagliari forum.

3. Call for visual material

The basic framework for the educational kit and CD-ROM was designed on our project forum. We are still in need of additional visual information for both products. Please contact the project coordinator with any proposal for creating additional material.

4. Future Actions

The deadline for submitting the contributions to the educational kit and CD-ROM is 15/01/2005. The next project forum will be held from 23rd until 26th of March. Our Spanish partner Pedro Ruiz is looking into the possibilities of organising it in Barcelona.
